This document is a thematic analysis of the feelings, opinions, and ideas associated with remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic from the perspectives of university freshman in New Jersey. The document pertains to undergrad qualitative research done during the spring of 2021 and includes thematic data as well as direct quotations from interviews, web-based public discourse, and an auto-ethnography. Included themes are color-coded by similarity and expressed by number of mentions in each respective sample category in order to represent specific personal effects of remote learning environments on student motivation, success, and general perceptions of higher education.
